Another integral component of logistics planning would be the purchase and transfer of raw material. In order to hold a portfolio in purchasing along with logistics, you will need to get professional certification such as the CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager Certification). In order to get this certification, you will require a bachelors or an associate degree in business management, logistics or engineering.

Qualification Required for Logistics Employment

If you are interested in a logistics career, you will need a master's degree in business management, logistics, or engineering. To qualify for the position of a logistics executive you need to have at least ten years of experience managing the logistics services of a large operation.
