Supply Chain Logistics Jobs description

A supply chain logistics professional is responsible for managing supply chain related aspects in a logistics department. Specific duties of a supply chain logistics professional include analyzing various components of the supply chain, studying for opportunities to improvise the supply chain, demonstrating the ability to integrate various components of supply chain and make the best out of the chain, looking out for opportunities to diversify in these areas; offering advice in operational matters; coordinating with vendors and warehouse managers; acting as part of the value chain; attending training sessions and making travel arrangements. A supply chain logistics professional typically reports to the supply chain logistics manager.
A supply chain logistics professional should have a high school diploma. An associate's degree with an additional qualification in supply chain management may be helpful. Strong ability to analyze supply chain and find opportunities to improve is essential.
