Logistics Associate Jobs

A logistics associate is responsible for assisting in both administrative and operational level activities in a logistics department. Specific duties of a logistics associate include assisting in logistics management; arranging for warehouse accommodation; keeping contacts with industry experts; keeping an eye on the competitors; coordinating with vendors, clients and staff members; establishing business relationships with representatives from client companies; ensuring safe and secure transportation of goods of clients; working on special projects; travelling to clients' facilities; projecting the right image of the company through various transactions with clients and performing other tasks assigned by the logistics manager. A logistics associate typically reports to a logistics manager.
A logistics associate should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a relevant area. Prior experience working as a logistics associate or logistics associate may be helpful. Ability to multi-task and prioritized various activities are required.
