Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance and/or repair activities.2. Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.3. Develops purchasing and supply chain management plans in order to enhance distribution of goods, supplies, and sustainment for hardware and software.4. Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.5. Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.6. Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff members.7. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.8. Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience
5-8 years of related experience in logistics management and/or supply chain management.
Experience with maintaining asset management systems
Extensive experience with MS Office including Excel
Experience with lifecycle of hardware and software
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting logistics operations.6. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technology and equipment.7. Specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.8. Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance9. Must meet DoD 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V3 Foundation within six months of hire.10. Depending on job assignment, additional specific certifications may be required.11. This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwide12. The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.13.
