Global Managment Services, LLC (GMS) is seeking a full-time a Warehouse Specialist. Specialist is generally responsible for limited aspects of technical supply management, inventory management, cataloging and property utilization, and Warehouse documenting..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Interviews customers, prepares request for loaner furniture
Prepare documents and inventory transfer
Daily drayage report
Schedule Delivery’s
Verify all issues prior to delivery
Verify all returns prior to restocking
Make decisions on repairs, fair wear and tear or occupant damages
Prepare occupant damage forms
Monthly 25% Inventory
Weekly DRMO transactions
Operating Fork Lifts
Knowledge of warehouse Inventory
NON - ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
Required:
Must possess strong customer relation skills
Ability to communicate ideas effectively with personnel at all levels.
Knowledge of Supply/Inventory terminology and applications.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Good administrative skills.
Work hours are subject to change, with overtime work as needed.
ADL with good driving record
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer skills using personal computers, Windows-based operating system; and Microsoft Office Suite Professional Edition is required.
Prior Knowledge of operating bar-coding inventory/asset system.
Posses increasing work experience showing good communication, interpersonal, motivational and organizational skills.
Must be task oriented, self-motivated, with the ability to multitask, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Basic math and computer skills are necessary for the position of materials handlers.
Knowledge of the inventory database used in an organization is helpful, but workers may learn on the job.
Knowledge of government information systems used to source and purchase required supplies and equipment; be familiar with government finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control procedures.

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; working requirements are a combination of maintenance shop activities which require lifting, handling or moving up to 50 lbs, working in on top of or beneath vehicles or equipment on jacks/stands; and office settings for data entry and reporting. Proper wearing of Personal Protective Equipment is essential along with hearing protection when required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The work described herein is primarily active, performed in a maintenance shop setting. Walking and climbing will be required at work sites. The work environment involves risks or discomforts that require specific safety precautions typical of such places as vehicle and maintenance shop environments.
