The logistics manager must be quick to respond to issues and needs. He or she should possess great oral communication and written skills, be highly organized, have leadership attributes, be a time management expert, and should have ample experience to analyze cost and financial data. He or she should strongly adhere to company regulations and policies and be able to respond to issues anytime of the day.

A logistics manager is required to have a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: industrial engineering, management, industrial technology, or business administration.

Jobs in logistics managerial position can receive a median annual income of $78,000 dollars.

A logistics worker is required to have a high school diploma. The applicant should have the desire to learn and train for a possible promotion. Experienced logistics workers have an advantage as do those with an associate certificate in administration, finance, or any business related courses.

Jobs in logistics are expected to grow in the coming years. Many new companies arise and deliveries are most likely to double because of Internet marketing, therefore increasing the demand for more logistics jobs in the future. Logistics workers can earn up to $15 to $16 dollars per hour, even more if you have an associate degree or experience.
